I know I sound like a voice out of the past but I can honestly say Ron and Bill were my best friends all through our school years. I could write a book on some of our adventures, some of them pretty stupid. Among the fondest were the fishing trips with you grandfather Bill to Coneaut or Pymatuning when he would drive 95 to 100 mph up the old Rt. 19. Reprimands by your grandmother Dorthy were often administered but I guess well deserved. I regret I cannot make it to Pittsburgh as my wife Barbara and I are away on vacation. I know these words cannot bring relief but you can rest knowing your father was a great guy a true best friend that was admired by many.

Tom,
I am Bill's eldest daughter. I just read your message to my mom, Pam, Bill's wife. She remembers you and we would love to read any stories and memories you could share with us. My dad passed 1/29/1996 from emphysema at age 52 at the University of Pittsburgh.
If you feel like sharing you can email us at my mom's email address: Pamintherain@yahoo.com
Thank you,
Tracy

Aunt Shirley, Ron, Mike, Missy, Kristian, Taylor, Zachary and Nicholas,
Nothing prepared us for this day. Our brother, father, uncle and Pappy was bigger than life and always full of stories, laughs and smiles! Now, we will remember him with love and thankfulness for the hardworking, dedicated, loving, caring community man, husband, father, brother, uncle, neighbor we all knew as the "Mayor of Troy Hill".
Know you are all in our thoughts, prayers and our deepest sympathy and empathy goes out to each of you.
With Love,
Tracy Fuchs-Connolly and John Connolly
