Thomas G.  "Tom" Primola

Age 65, of  Glenshaw, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2020, with his wife of 40 years by his side, after a three year courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born February 19, 1955, to Joseph and Margaret Primola. He was the beloved husband of Carol Ann Primola and father of Thomas Primola  (Nicole Lewkowicz) and Joseph Primola (Allie Winter). Tom is also survived by his loving sisters, Bernadine P. (and the late Joe) Naughton, Sara (Jim) Martin, M. Adele (Albert D.) Uhryniak; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom worked for many years as an accountant, finishing his career at the Pittsburgh Firefighter's Federal Credit Union, a job he greatly enjoyed. Tom was known for being a supportive husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He had a great love for animals, from the feral cats in the neighborhood to the family pet dogs, latest being Hazel. He was also known for his love of classic cars, especially his Corvette. Tom spent most of his weekends with family, helping others restore their classic cars, and taking his family to car shows. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Good Samaritan Hospice, 146 Neely School Rd., Wexford, PA 15084. Family and friends will be received from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212- Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Bonaventure Church - Glenshaw. Tom will be laid to rest at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery.
