RUTH ANN GRABB

January 22, 1938 – November 16, 2021

Ruth Ann Grabb, age 83 of Pittsburgh, peacefully went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Devoted mother of Sandy Romano (Gus), Sherry Sonetti (Rick), David Grabb (Sue), and Sallie Rose (James); cherished grandmother of Maria Carter (Ian), Lisa Villani (Vito), Michele Craver (John), Stevie Lee Richards (Brennan), Derrick Grabb (Jackie), William Rose, Sarah Shackelford (Doug), and Raymond Rose; tenderhearted great grandmother of Luca, Nico, Brianna, Leah, Evan, Vera and Lincoln; dear sister of Annamae Ubinger and Ray Hepp (Maryann); also survived many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband David Grabb, her parents Ernestine and Raymond Hepp and sister Erni Boss. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 12-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212- Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 10 a.m. in Most Holy Name Church, Troy Hill. Ruth worked for the Army Corp. of Engineers for 32 years and the Shaler Area Food Service for 15 years. She was well known for taking care of others, her volunteer work, baking her famous Lady Locks, and how much she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
