Robert "Bob" Reiner
Age 82, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully in his Troy Hill home surrounded by his family on Friday, September 14, 2018. Loving husband of 61 years of Patricia (Lunardi) Reiner; proud father of Sharon (Joseph) Vlakancic, Deborah (Joseph) Buczkowski, Michael (Kimberly) Reiner, Kathleen (Gary) Gavin, and Kristen Reiner (Dan); beloved grandfather of Sean (Michaelena), Nicholas, Cameron, and Patrick; great-grandfather of Isabella, Liam, Hollis, and Finnian; also survived by eight step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Reiner Sr. and Irene (Seelman) Lang, and brothers, Raymond Jr., Donald and Richard Reiner. Survived by his half siblings, and Janet Lang and Anthony Lang. Bob was a United States Army Veteran and worked for 42 years for the United States Postal Service. He was an avid gardener, lover of animals, and a lifelong Steelers Fan. His family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Jodi and the staff of Family Hospice and Palliative Care for the gentle and compassionate care Bob received. Family and friends will be received 2-8 p.m. Tuesday September 18, at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 19, at 10:30 a.m. in Most Holy Name of Jesus Church, Troy Hill.
