ROBERT H. “UMPS” GRAMC
Age 91, of Spring Garden, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Beloved husband of Phyllis J. (Schmitt) Gramc; loving father of David (fiancé Amy Capretto) Gramc, Terry (Curt) Trimble, Carol (Mike) Burnham and the late Gary P. Gramc; dear grandfather of Katie Trimble, Nichole (Cody) Betts, Michael Burnham, Curtis Trimble, Brendan Burnham, Garrett Burnham, Samantha Gramc, Alexa Burnham and Alex Gramc; dear great grandfather of Caleb Rios, Aria Betts and Jackson Trimble; dear brother of William “Winks” Gramc and the late Mildred Ujcich and Joseph Gramc; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Most Holy Name Church-Troy Hill (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). “Umps” was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, and a member of the Pile Drivers Union Local #2264, St. Anthony Lyceum, St. Mary’s Lyceum, Spring Garden Sportsman’s Club, SNPJ Lodge, V.F.W. Post #7090 and the American Legion Post #565. In lieu of flowers his family respectfully requests donations to Most Holy Name Parish 1700 Harpster Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
