Margaret C. (Bruecken) Hoffield, Age 88, of Mount Troy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Glenn A. (Pete) Hoffield; loving mother of Debra (Oscar) Schneider, Pamela (Dan) Yochum, Glenn (Amy) Hoffield, Jr. and Donna (Thomas) Brestensky. Dear Grandmother of Douglas, Nichole, Scott (Yochum), Chris, Tyler (Schneider), Terry and Allyssa (Sheldon), Anecia (Hoffield). Step-Grandmother of Olivia and Thomas (Brestensky). Great Grandmother of Emma, James (Hollinger), Liam, Myles and Nolan (Sheldon). Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Troy Hill. Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in St. Anthony’s Chapel-Most Holy Name Parish-1700 Harpster Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Interment will be at Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw, PA. Most of Margie’s life was being a dedicated employee and volunteer of her beloved St. Anthony’s Chapel Shop, spent among all the Saints and relics. She enjoyed meeting people from all over the world, who came to see St. Anthony’s Chapel. She enjoyed ordering, pricing, and preparing the Chapel Shop for all the visitors, daily Mass, and smiling and joking with everyone. In lieu of flowers, her family respectfully requests memorial contributions be directed to St. Anthony Chapel, 1700 Harpster Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
