She discovered her love of driving and traveling at a young age, learning how to drive her father's 18-wheeler when she was fifteen years old. She was known by her loved ones for her beauty and strong-willed personality, overcoming any challenge that was thrown her way. She became a registered nurse in 1998, spending many years on the cardio-pulmonary unit at UPMC Shadyside before transitioning into case management with United Healthcare, where she retired from in 2016. Those who remember her recall her love of music, cooking, and painting. A memorial will be scheduled at a later date due to COVID. For those that want to send their love, know that she would say, "love you more." Arrangements entrusted to the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC.-Troy Hill.
