JOSEPH L. HOFFMAN
Joseph L. Hoffman, age 76, of Shaler Twp., formerly of North Side, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Beloved husband of 46 years to Frances (Haniotes) Hoffman; beloved son of the late Joseph Sr. and Alice (Neibauer) Hoffman; dear brother of Donna Barraclough, Patty (the late Wayne) Williamson, and the late Susan (Kevin-surviving) Tomasic; dear uncle of Sean, James, Christopher, Patrick, and Corey Barraclough, and Michael, Nicholas, and Eleni Haniotes, and Paul and Matthew Tomasic. Family and friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212- Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, September 19, 2025, in Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Peter Church, 720 Arch Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-North Side. Family was very important to Joe. He enjoyed visiting antique shops, antique car shows, building model airplanes and cars, enjoyed stargazing and going to stargazing events at planetariums, flying model airplanes, hiking, and gardening. Joe was a 1966 graduate of Allegheny High School and Conley Technical Institute. Joe was an accomplished Design Draftsman for over 30 years, receiving many awards for his accomplishments.
