GARY FRANCIS KAPETANOVICH

On Saturday evening, July 2, 2022, Gary Francis Kapetanovich of Reserve Township passed away at the age of 66, (born January 24, 1956). The third son of the late Stephen Joseph Kapetanovich (March 14, 1995) and the late Beatrice Marie (Skornicka) Kapetanovich (December 3, 2011). Gary was a great athlete, Baseball & Golf, and a fine brother. He was pure, clean, kind - never hurt anyone even a little bit. Gary walked through life with Pure Innocence, maintaining that loving innocence from the moment he graced this earth to the very second he left this existence. The burden he carried under the daily weight of his cross is (and was) so unimaginable to the rest of us. Gary is Greatly Blessed, Highly Favored, Imperfect, But Forgiven, Child of God. Gary loved The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Gary knew every word to every song they sang. Gary’s beautiful singing voice was unforgettable. Gary knew every President of the United States in the order in which they obtained office. Gary’s brother David Theodore Kapetanovich passed from this earth May 20, 2019. Gary’s surviving brothers, Stephen Albert Kapetanovich and Paul Daniel (Valerie) Kapetanovich; and Gary’s surviving sister, Mary Ann Kapetanovich (Gary) Warren. Gary is also survived and loved by his many nieces and nephews. Gary worked as a Freight Driver’s Assistant at Shovel, Transfer and Storage until his illness. Family will welcome friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212- Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 in Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Troy Hill.
