Eva (LaScola) Nicotra

Age 101, of Troy Hill, eased peacefully and quietly into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, February 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John J. “Vic” Nicotra; loving mother John S. (MaryAnn-deceased) Nicotra, William “Bill” (Kathleen) Nicotra, David-deceased (Linda) Nicotra and JoAnn (George) Tylenda; also survived by over 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The loves of her life were her husband, four children and grandchildren. At Most Holy Name Parish, she enjoyed singing at Mass with the choir and being active in the Woman’s Society. Eva also enjoyed serenading her fellow residents and staff members at Kane. Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Kane Regional Center-Ross Twp. for the excellent care they provided. Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie St., Pgh., PA 15212-Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10 a.m. in Most Holy Name Church, Troy Hill. Interment to follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
