ESTHER (ENGEL) WINTERS

Age 87, of Troy Hill, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Ralph R. “Barrels” “Bags” Winters; loving mother of Ralph Winters Jr., Richard (Grace) Winters, Tim Winters, Dan (Sherry) Winters and Bill Winters; dear grandmother of Phillip, Brandon (Leslie), Kari, Brandon (Amanda) and Dylan (Paige) Winters; dear great-grandmother of Kaylie, Caiden, Juliana, Amelia, Connor, Lorelei and Waylen Winters; dear sister of Dee Thomas and the late Harold Engel, Mildred Tschannen, Shirley Tschannen and Hazel Huber; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 4th at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5th in Most Holy Name Church-Troy Hill. Esther was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was an active member of Most Holy Name Parish, St. Anthony Chapel, and Silver Sneakers- YMCA North Side, she coached the Leprechauns Girls Softball Team in the Tri Hill Valley League.
