ELMER “AL” PRICE JR.

After 73 years of a happy and fulfilling life, Al, of Shaler Township, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 29, 2023, in his sleep with his family by his side. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Christine (Shlapak) Price, his parents Elmer and Corrine Price, sister, Susan, brother Jack. Al is the beloved father to Amy (Mark) Proie and Jason (Danielle) Price; devoted grandfather of Nick and Mathieu Proie and Carson and Corinne Price; dear brother of Tom (Anita) Price and Julie (Chuck) Killcrece; brother- in-law of Barb (Dave) Durr; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023, and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday May 5, 2023, at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212- Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 6, 2023, in Most Holy Name Church, 1520 Claim Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-Troy Hill (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
