Age 88, of Troy Hill, on Monday, June 27, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Barbara J. "Jean" (Lockhart) Murdy; loving father of Linda J. Yeskatalas (Rich Akscyn), Diane L. (John) Meyers, Edward J. Murdy II (Debbie Lubert), George T. Murdy (Shari Campbell), dear grandfather of Amy, Becky (Jesse), Drew (Meghan), Melissa (Chad), Sarah, Edward III (Jesse), Joey (Amanda), Justin (Alyssa), Jessica (Adam), Sean (Natalie); dear great-grandfather of Christopher, Hayden, Lucy, Lorelei, Kaylee, Ascher, Corbin, Ellie, Logan, Ethan, Colin, Zoey, McKenna, Harper, Jameson, Landon, Brandon, Nora, Paige and Maggie; dear brother of the late Art, George, Earl and Elmer Murdy; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will be received 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212- Troy Hill, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022.
