Bessie A. (Brutico) Koch

Age 89, of Troy Hill, on Sunday October 16, 2016.  Beloved wife of George J. Koch; loving mother of Luann (Steven) Brittner and Diane (Christopher) Burke; dear grandmother of Stephanie (Tyler) Montabon, Andrea Brittner and Ryan Burke; dear great-grandmother of Cohen Montabon; also survived by wonderful brother-in-law Louis (and the late Angie) Pasquinelli. She was preceded in death by three brothers; and four sisters; and she was the youngest one of the eight.  Family to receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1501 Lowrie Street, Pgh., PA 15212-Troy Hill.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Most Holy Name Church, Troy Hill.  She was a member of the Christian Mothers.  Bessie loved to sew, dance, sing, and play bingo, and also work the bingo.  In her younger days, she sang on KDKA Radio with the Betty Dugan's "Starlets on Parade."   She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
